Even after my first year as the sole broker for the Grove at Appeldoorn condominiums, I knew I had stumbled onto something unique. By the time the development was completed in early 2006, I had my business model in place -- team up with forward-thinking developers to bring an extensive knowledge of their product and an easy, no-hassle experience direct to buyers. By focusing on everything from building design and marketing to sales and closing coordination, I give the developer more freedom in his budget and a true partner throughout the life of the project. Together we fill a huge void in the Asheville market for quality, affordable communities. The success of the Appeldoorn opened the door to other affordable developments including Brickton Village in Fletcher, NC.

As a musician, artist, and former teacher, I really needed my day gig to be meaningful and interesting. In early 2006, I was offered an opportunity to be part of the Nitch Real Estate team, selling and marketing a new affordable development in Fletcher, NC. I have long believed that homeownership is key to individual success and financial well-being. With our affordable communities, I hope to help regular people who live and work in the Asheville area get into a home for the first time. Nitch, and the developers we work with, have a fresh, new approach to real estate. I am excited to be a part of it!

Holly Vandegrift, Broker
Since moving to Western North Carolina in 2002, I have developed an expansive knowledge of the area and a diverse group of contacts. After spending nearly two years searching for my own home, I wanted to help others through the nuances of buying and selling property and decided to join Nitch Real Estate. I draw upon my extensive marketing and customer service background to effectively analyze the needs of my clients and provide targeted solutions. I stay involved in the community by participating on the board of the Asheville Chamber Total Resource Campaign, as a board member of the Asheville Affiliates, and a Big Sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of WNC. My love for the arts will often take me anywhere from Terpsicorps at the Diane Wortham Theatre to shows at the Grey Eagle. I live with my husband near downtown Asheville.
